Backline Logistics is hiring experienced Class 1 drivers to support our long-established clients across the Exeter area. The role involves regular work with nights that may vary and requires own transport to start locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence is required and CPC/digital tachograph card up-to-date.
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience preferred but not essential.
• Manual gearbox experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive for a variety of clients across the Exeter area.
• Maintain compliance with road safety and transport regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods as required.
• Maintain professional and positive communication with clients and team.

We're looking for experienced and reliable Class 1 drivers to drive for our long established clients.

This role is for a variety of clients across the Exeter area.

It will involve regular work but you will need to be flexible as the nights could vary.

Own transport required due to start locations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driving Licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (preferred, not essential)
• Manual gearbox experience an advantage
• Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
• Perform some physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• A professional and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Own transport to travel to work
• Complete training as required
