Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers for night trunking in Northampton. You will perform depot-to-depot movements, keep logs, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Candidates must have a valid CE licence with 12 months CE experience, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, plus up to 6 penalty points. A responsible safety mindset and adherence to drivers' hours rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence with at least 12 months CE driving experience.
• Hold Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Able to work within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph rules.
• Be aged 23 or older.

Job description

We're seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to join our Logistics team.

This is a night trunking position involving scheduled movements between company depots and distribution centres. You will play an important part in keeping stock moving across our network, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

What Does the Role Involve?

The position centres on depot-to-depot trunking, supported by routine vehicle inspections, accurate completion of transport records, and adherence to all relevant transport legislation. You'll be expected to take pride in the condition of your vehicle, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to the smooth running of the transport function.

• Are you 23 years of age or older?


• Do you hold a valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and have at least 12 months' CE driving experience?

• Are you confident working within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements?
