Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV drivers for regular night trunking. The role focuses on depot-to-depot movements, with routine vehicle checks and strict record-keeping to comply with transport legislation. Candidates should have 12 months CE experience, a valid CE licence, Driver CPC, and low penalty points.

You will be part of a team ensuring the fleet operates safely and deliveries occur on time, with ongoing support from an experienced Transport Team.

Qualifications

• 23 years of age or older
• Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence with 12+ months CE driving experience
• Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Confident working within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements
• Strong commitment to safety, vehicle care and legal compliance

Responsibilities

• Depots to depots trunking across the network
• Routine vehicle inspections and safe operating practices

• Maintain vehicle condition and report faults promptly
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time

Looking for Regular Night Work?

We're seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to join our Logistics team.

This is a night trunking position involving scheduled movements between company depots and distribution centres. You will play an important part in keeping stock moving across our network, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

What Does the Role Involve?

The position centres on depot-to-depot trunking, supported by routine vehicle inspections, accurate completion of transport records, and adherence to all relevant transport legislation. You'll be expected to take pride in the condition of your vehicle, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to the smooth running of the transport function.
