Job summary

QS Recruitment seeks an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV driver for steady night work with trunking between UK distribution centres. Expect no multi-drop deliveries, chances to boost earnings with weekend overtime, and a steady Monday–Friday night schedule with start times 18:00–20:00.

Contract is temporary with ongoing hours and up to 28 days pro-rata holiday. Pay ranges from £16.00 to £20.00 per hour, with regular weekly shifts and potential weekend work for extra hours.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience operating and unloading double-decker trailers.
• A minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunk runs between UK distribution centres with no more than three runs per shift.
• Join a night-shift pattern with Monday to Friday work and optional weekend shifts.
• Work is planned to minimise pressure from deliveries and maximise safe driving.

Are you a skilled Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver looking for steady night work with no multi-drop deliveries?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term operation offering consistent weekday shifts, straightforward trunking work, and the option to increase your earnings with weekend overtime.

Your role will involve completing trunk runs between distribution centres across the UK, with no more than three runs per shift. The work is well planned and organised, allowing you to focus on driving without the pressures of a demanding delivery schedule.

Duration: This is an ongoing position with regular work and dependable hours.
