Driver Hire Colchester is seeking Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers to join our team. Roles involve trunking and general haulage across CO postcode areas with varying start times from early morning. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with 24/7 support from our team and higher pay for nights and weekends.
Requirements include own transport, valid licences, CPC, and Tachograph Card, with up to 6 penalty points. Payroll includes weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

Variety of work with a variety of clients across the CO postcode; Harwich, Colchester etc. We require drivers to cover busy periods, sickness and holiday.
Start times vary between 04:00 and 07:00 AM.
Variety and flexibility. Trunking, General haulage, Curtain siders, Flat bed, Refrigerated trailers, Builders merchants ETC
Local and regional deliveries
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with tachograph and driving regulations
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Higher pay for Moffett, HIAB, Nights and weekends
Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
No More then 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
Must be able to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
Reliable, professional, and punctual.
Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexible and able to adapt to different routes and delivery schedules.
*Pay above is inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%, other options for accruing holiday please ask.
