Perts Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver in Quedgeley, Gloucester, for ongoing full-time work. The role pays £17.71 per hour for all hours, with holiday entitlement and permanent status for the right candidate.

Shifts run Monday night through Friday night into Saturday morning, with trunking to regional depots. You must hold a UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card, be over 21, and have no more than 9 points.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our national client. This role involves trunking to other depots across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and company regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working independently and delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

• Shifts starting between 19:00 - 21:00
• Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
• No handballing required
• Distance runs available

Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be over 21 years of age (insurance purposes)
• Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements
• Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
• Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test
