Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks an HGV Class 1 Night Driver for ongoing full-time work in Quedgeley. The role pays £17.71 per hour for all hours worked, with holiday entitlement and potential permanent status for the right candidate. Shifts run Monday night through Friday night, finishing Saturday morning.

New passes are welcome. You will trunk goods to depots across the region, ensuring safe, efficient transport while meeting legal and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be over 21 years of age (insurance purposes).
• Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle.
• Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test.

Responsibilities

• Trunk goods to depots across the region.
• Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles.
• Shifts start between 19:00-21:00.
• No handballing required.
• Deliver safe, efficient transport while complying with legal and company requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and company regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working independently and delivering outstanding customer service.
