Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a HGV Class 1 Night Driver in Gloucester for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. Pay is £19.00–£21.29 per hour with night shifts Mon–Fri. Duties include trunking, deliveries, paperwork, and maintaining customer service while keeping the vehicle safe and presentable.

Essential is a valid UK Class 1 Licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Pass drivers welcome; good timekeeping and reliability are important for permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maximum 9 points for minor endorsements.

Job description

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks an HGV Class 1 Night Driver for ongoing work in Gloucester. This full‑time, temp‑to‑perm contract offers £19 to £21.29 hourly, with shifts running Monday through Friday nights. Duties include night trunking, depot‑to‑depot deliveries, collections, daily vehicle inspections and accurate paperwork. Minimal manual handling is required, alongside upholding strong customer service. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, so a valid Class 1 licence and digital tachograph card are essential. Successful applicants will demonstrate safe driving, reliability and good timekeeping. Regular hours are available with the prospect of a permanent post for the right candidate.

Duties

• Night trunking and depot‑to‑depot deliveries
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently

• Conducting daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery and transport paperwork accurately
