Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers in Gloucester for regular night work with potential for permanent placement. You will perform night trunking, depot deliveries, and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering excellent service to customers.

New pass drivers welcome; a permanent position may be offered to the right candidate with consistent night work and available hours.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Professional and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
• New Pass Drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Night trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries.
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Minimal manual handling.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery and transport paperwork accurately.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
• Adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
