Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a HGV Class 1 Night Driver in Gloucester for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. Pay is £19.00–£21.29 per hour with night shifts Mon–Fri. Duties include trunking, deliveries, paperwork, and maintaining customer service while keeping the vehicle safe and presentable.

Essential is a valid UK Class 1 Licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Pass drivers welcome; good timekeeping and reliability are important for permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence with CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Night trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries.
• Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Daily vehicle checks and paperwork accuracy.
• Maintain excellent customer service and vehicle cleanliness.
• Adhere to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
