Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd in Warrington is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join our growing fleet. You will perform pre-shift vehicle checks, maintain daily electronic logs, and drive to customer sites with a focus on safety, reliability and on-time deliveries for a varied client base.

The role features drop/swap trailers with no loading or unloading, compliance with EU drivers' hours, and working weekends/evenings as required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph.
• Full CPC qualification.
• Pass a CRB background check.
• Pass a Drugs & Alcohol test.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to work evening shifts.
• Must have right to work in the U.K.
• Must have good working knowledge of EU drivers' hours and regulations.
• Licence must have no more than 3 points and no pre-existing codes within 5 years (CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR).

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks.
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
• Drop/swap trailers with boxed trailers only; no loading/unloading.
• Use route navigation apps to deliver trailers from pick up to destination.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only

WHAT YOU NEED
