Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd in Warrington is seeking full-time Class 1 (C+E) HGV drivers to join a fast‑moving line haul fleet. Duties include daily truck checks, maintaining electronic logs, and performing 3 trailer swaps per shift with boxed trailers, with no loading required and always returning home the same day.

Applicants must hold a Class 1 license, Digital Tachograph, CPC, and pass CRB and drugs tests.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily truck maintenance checks and report issues to the manager.
• Keep daily electronic logs of routes and deliveries.
• No loading/unloading duties required.
• Traction work: drop and swap trailers, ~3 swaps per shift with boxed trailers.

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph
• Full CPC qualification
• Must be able to pass a CRB background check
• Must be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to work evening shifts
• Must have right to work in the U.K
• Must have good working knowledge of EU drivers' hours and regulations
• Your driver's licence MUST have NO more than 3pts & NO pre-existing codes within 5 years - CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR
