Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd in Warrington is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for night trunking. You will deliver trailers with no loading/unloading and maintain daily electronic logs. The role requires a valid C+E licence, CPC, tachograph, and the ability to work weekends and evenings.

We offer weekly bonuses and pension eligibility after probation, along with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and on-site parking. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph.
• Must be able to pass a CRB background check.
• Must be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
• Right to work in the UK and no more than 3 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers from pickup to destination.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of issues.
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
• Driver is not required to assist with loading/unloading; drop/swapping trailers (≈3 swaps per shift).

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

WHAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO DO

• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only
