Job summary

Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd is hiring full-time Class 1 HGV drivers for our Warrington fleet. You will use route apps to deliver trailers and perform daily truck checks, while maintaining logs and swapping trailers as needed.

We value punctuality, customer service, and the ability to work independently or with the team in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and evening shifts are required; right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence is required.
• Digital Tachograph and CPC qualification are mandatory.
• Must pass CRB background check and Drugs & Alcohol test.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Right to work in the UK with clean licence and codes.

Responsibilities

• Use route navigation apps to deliver trailers from pickup to destination.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and report issues.
• Maintain daily electronic logs for routes and deliveries.
• Drop/swap trailers; no loading or unloading duties.
• Be punctual to ensure deliveries are on time and professionally handled.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only

WHAT YOU NEED

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph

• Must have right to work in the U.K
• Must have good working knowledge of EU drivers' hours and regulations
• Your driver's licence MUST have NO more than 3pts & NO pre-existing codes within 5 years - CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR
