Route Delivery Solutions (RDS) Ltd is hiring Class 1 HGV drivers for full-time roles in Warrington. The job focuses on maintaining, logging, and delivering trailers with minimal loading/unloading duties. You’ll operate routes using navigation tools and must meet strict regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph.
• Full CPC qualification.
• Must pass a CRB background check.
• Must pass Drugs & Alcohol test.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must be able to work evening shifts.
• Must have right to work in the U.K.
• Licence must have no more than 3 points and no codes in 5 years (CD, IN, DD, TT, MS, DR).

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues.
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
• Driver is not required to assist with loading or unloading.
• Traction work only - drop/swap trailers; about 3 swaps per shift with boxed trailers.
• Use route navigation apps and area knowledge to deliver trailers from pickup to destination.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Maintain daily electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
• Driver is not required to assist with any loading or unloading
• Traction work only- drop/swap trailers. On average 3 swaps per shift, working with boxed trailers only

WHAT YOU NEED
