Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tonbridge area. We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, Start Time: 09:00am starts. Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE.

Location: Tonbridge, TN12. Job Type: Ongoing. You will securely move palletised parcels, 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return, and assist with loading using tail lift and pump truck while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (Cat C&E).
• 6 months experience required.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.
• 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return.
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
