Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in Sheffield to hire HGV Drivers (Class 1 or Class 2). You will securely move palletised parcels, make 15–25 deliveries on return, and assist with loading using tail lift and pump truck.

Shifts Monday to Friday, starts at 09:00, pay £15.36 per hour PAYE. You will interact with customers, maintain paperwork, and uphold safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• 6 months driving experience required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence; understanding of WTD legislation.

Roles Available:

• HGV Class 1
• HGV Class 2

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday

Start Time: 09:00am starts

Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE

Location: Sheffield, S25

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.
• 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (Cat C/C&E).
• 6 months experience required
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
