Job summary

Romac Logistics is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Motherwell. This is a full-time, permanent position with various shift patterns available. Responsibilities include driving Class 1 vehicles, ensuring the integrity of refrigerated deliveries, and loading/unloading at customer locations using an electric pump truck.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid UK Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and a good understanding of driver regulations. Romac offers competitive pay and opportunities for progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must have a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Strong understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles between depots and RDCs.
• Operate refrigerated trailers to ensure product integrity.
• Complete 2-5 store deliveries per shift.
• Load and unload at customer locations using an electric pump truck.

Skills

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card

Good understanding of driver hours & WTD

Strong work ethic and good timekeeping

Roles And Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles – trunking between depots and Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs)
• Operate refrigerated trailers, ensuring product integrity and on-time delivery
• Complete 2–5 store deliveries per shift.
• Load and unload at customer locations using an electric pump truck (PPT).

Skills And Experience

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Good understanding of driver hours & WTD
• Strong work ethic and good timekeeping
