Job summary

West Riding Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver for a busy plumbing and heating company in Motherwell. UK-wide trunking and delivery work, Monday to Friday, with days or nights.

You will carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining high safety standards. This role offers regular ongoing work with a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person and a long-term position within an established company, in a friendly and professional

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• UK-wide deliveries with trunking and some drops.
• Deliver plumbing and heating products to customers and sites.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Working safely and professionally at all times.

The Role

• Monday to Friday work - DAYS or NIGHTS available
• UK-wide deliveries
• Mainly trunking, with some delivery work involving a few drops
• Delivering plumbing and heating products to customers and sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Working safely and professionally at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Good customer service skills
