Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for full-time temporary roles at our Cambuslang depot in Glasgow. The job involves refrigerated deliveries to shops with 8–15 drops daily, Tail lift and cages, and immediate starts.

Shifts run Wed–Sat or Sun–Wed, with day (£17.30) and night (£19.77) rates plus overtime after 47.5 hours; weekends and holidays paid at higher rates. Parking is available onsite for staff.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience required.
• UK Driving Licence with Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC card with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Driving within the Working Time Directive (WTD) and EU regs.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and fulfil orders on time.

HGV 1 Driver -Glasgow Cambuslang

Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for full-timetemporary roles in our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts pattern available

• Wednesday to Saturday (start between 00:01-03:00)
• Sunday to Wednesday(start between 00:01-03:00)

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
