Job summary

West Riding Recruitment Limited is assisting a busy plumbing and heating company based in Motherwell to recruit a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver. The role covers UK-wide deliveries, trunking and occasional drops, with Monday to Friday shifts options including days or nights.

You will carry out daily vehicle checks, complete delivery paperwork accurately, and provide a professional customer service experience. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity with a friendly, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• UK-wide deliveries.
• Mainly trunking with some delivery work and a few drops.
• Delivering plumbing and heating products to customers and sites.

The Role

• Monday to Friday work - DAYS or NIGHTS available
• UK-wide deliveries
• Mainly trunking, with some delivery work involving a few drops
• Delivering plumbing and heating products to customers and sites
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Working safely and professionally at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
