Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in Glasgow Cambuslang is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for full-time temporary roles at the Cambuslang depot. The job involves refrigerated deliveries to shops with 8–15 drops per day, including tail lift and cages. Immediate starts available with day and night shifts.

Shifts pattern: Wed–Sat or Sun–Wed, with start times around 00:01–03:00. Pay rates vary by day or night shifts, with overtime after 47.5 hours. On-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Driving within WTD and EU regs.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and on-time orders.

HGV 1 Driver -Glasgow Cambuslang

Glasgow Cambuslang Investment Park - HGV Class 1

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for full-timetemporary roles in our depot in Cambuslang - Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores. 8 - 15 drops per day, with Tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts pattern available

• Wednesday to Saturday (start between 00:01-03:00)
• Sunday to Wednesday(start between 00:01-03:00)

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Immediate start for successful candidates
