Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to cover Scotland and Northern England. You will undertake store deliveries and be part of a well-established transport operation, with regular shifts and weekly pay.

Start times range 2:00am to 6:00am, you will use tail lifts and pallet trucks, unload at stores, and handle a mix of frozen, chilled, ambient goods and milk on Central Belt routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation.
• Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Store delivery work across the Central Belt and surrounding areas.
• Delivering a mixture of frozen, chilled, ambient goods and milk.
• Use of tail lifts and pallet trucks.
• Drivers will be required to unload deliveries at store locations.
• Central Belt routes may involve 3-4 drops per shift; longer routes fewer drops.

HGV Class 1 Driver

We're currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client for ongoing work across Scotland and Northern England.

The Role

• Start times between 2:00am and 6:00am
• Store delivery work across the Central Belt and surrounding areas
• Delivering a mixture of frozen, chilled, ambient goods and milk
• Use of tail lifts and pallet trucks
• Drivers will be required to unload deliveries at store locations (no warehouse unloading required)
• Central Belt routes may involve 3-4 drops per shift
• Longer-distance routes generally involve fewer drops

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Previous store delivery experience preferred
• Comfortable using tail lifts and pallet trucks
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
• Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused approach

Shifts Available

• Operation runs 7 days per week
