Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for ongoing positions across Tonbridge with day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday.

You must hold a clean UK licence with CPC and Tachograph Card, be eligible to work over 20 hours per week, and be reliable with a strong time‑keeping record to meet delivery schedules and interact with dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Clean UK Driving Licence with no more than 9 points
• CPC (Driver Qualification Card)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours per week
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience operating a Class 1 vehicle safely

Responsibilities

• Perform a complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle as required by policy (tyre pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls)
• Report safety issues on standard reports
• Follow the delivery schedule and interact confidently with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Adhere to all required safety policies and procedures

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to fill positions throughout Tonbridge. A range of jobs are available with both day and night shift options from Monday - Sunday.

Multidrop

You will need:

• Clean full UK Driving Licence (no more than 9 points)
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Right to work over 20 hours p/w
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

We are able to offer rates between £18-£20 depending on job available
