Job summary

The Lockwood Group is seeking professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our expanding team. We offer training, support, and career development, and welcome both experienced and newly qualified drivers.

We operate Monday to Friday night shifts with general haulage work, delivering goods safely and maintaining high customer service standards. Full PPE, parking, and driver training are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and customer focused.
• Strong communication and professional safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• General haulage work on Monday to Friday night shifts.
• Operating modern vehicles with up-to-date technology.
• Delivering goods safely, efficiently and professionally.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintaining clear and timely communication with the Transport Team.

As part of the Lockwood Group, William West & Sons is looking for professional and motivated HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our expanding team. Whether you're an experienced driver or newly qualified, we offer the training, support, and career development opportunities to help you succeed.

Pay & Benefits

• £165.00 per shift
• Average of 48 hours per week, calculated over a 26 week reference period
• 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
