Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent role with an immediate start across South Yorkshire. You will palletise deliveries, offload using tail lift and pump truck and perform daily vehicle checks. Monday–Friday, around 18:00 starts, potential for ongoing temporary with permanent opportunities. Closing date 23/11/2026.

This role requires a full UK licence, tachograph card, CPC, and clean licence (no more than 6 points).

• Digital tachograph card required.
• UK CPC qualification required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to customers in the South Yorkshire area.
• Offload pallets using tail lift and electric pump truck.

Fantastic Opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers in Goldthorpe Immediate Start Available

You will be working for a family operated, national and international transport company operating primarily in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries that distributes an extensive range of commodities including construction products, agricultural products, electrical goods and food and drink products as well as being a proud partner of TPN (The Pallet Network). You will be responsible for delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area and will be responsible for offloading pallets using a tail lift and electric pump truck. PM trunking work also available

All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary role with perm opportunitites also available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £19.00 per hour

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 1800 each day.

Experience & Qualifications
