Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join a family-operated national and international transport company. You will deliver palletised goods to customers in South Yorkshire and beyond, using tail lift and electric pump truck for offloads.

Open to UK applicants only. Permanent contract, £19.00 per hour, Monday–Friday with start around 18:00. Progressive opportunities may exist for permanent roles.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence is required.
• Digital tachograph card is required.
• Full UK CPC is required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Licence held for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to customers across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
• Offload pallets using tail lift and electric pump truck.
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete paperwork per company guidelines.
• PM trunking work may also be available.

Job Description

CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED IN GOLDTHORPE

You will be working for a family operated, national and international transport company operating primarily in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries that distributes an extensive range of commodities including construction products, agricultural products, electrical goods and food and drink products as well as being a proud partner of TPN (The Pallet Network). You will be responsible for delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area and will be responsible for offloading pallets using a tail lift and electric pump truck. PM trunking work also available.

All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary role with perm opportunitites also available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £19.00 per hour

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 1800 each day.

Experience & Qualifications
