Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking Class 1 drivers for day shifts in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire, delivering palletised goods for a national and international transport company. You will often offload pallets using tail lifts and may be involved in trunking work, with attention to paperwork and vehicle checks.

Role is permanent with an ongoing temporary option, starting around 07:00 Monday to Friday. The position offers £18.00 per hour and requires compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence is mandatory.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Full UK CPC qualification required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to customers across South Yorkshire.
• Offload pallets using tail lift and electric pump truck.
• Carry out pre-delivery vehicle checks and complete paperwork as per guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.

Job Description

CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED – DAYS – GOLDTHORPE

You will be working for a family operated, national and international transport company operating primarily in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries that distributes an extensive range of commodities including construction products, agricultural products, electrical goods and food and drink products as well as being a proud partner of TPN (The Pallet Network). You will be responsible for delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area and will be responsible for offloading pallets using a tail lift and electric pump truck. PM trunking work also available
.
All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary role with perm opportunitites also available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 0700 each day.

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have the following,
