Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers to operate in Sheffield on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves trunking to RDCs/NDCs nationwide, curtain-side loading, and strict adherence to company procedures. You will perform vehicle checks and complete all required paperwork.

The position offers full-time hours, with a 1800 start and a permanent contract pathway. PAYE rate is £19 per hour, with£22 per hour via Umbrella payroll; 28 days holiday per year are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and a full UK CPC.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Licence held for at least 1 year with commercial driving experience

Responsibilities

• Trunk loads to RDCs and NDCs nationwide.
• Open curtain and wait to be loaded/unloaded with pallets.
• Carry out pre-delivery vehicle checks and complete paperwork.

HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted in Sheffield – Temp to Perm

We are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established family run business in Sheffield. Duties will include trunking to RDC’s and NDC’s nationwide.

Drivers will be required to open a curtain and wait to be loaded or unloaded with pallets, no handball

All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is a full time role with temp to perm opportunities available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £19.00 per hour PAYEWe also have the option to pay £22.00 per hour through our Umbrella Payroll provider.You will also acrue 28 days holiday per year

Working Hours: Workig hours are Monday to Friday with start times being 1800 each day
