Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire, is looking for HGV Class 1 drivers. You will deliver palletised goods to customers across the South Yorkshire region and offload with a tail lift and electric pump truck.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, around 07:00 starts. Pay is £18.00 per hour on days and £19.00 per hour on nights. This is an ongoing temporary role with permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Digital tachograph card
• A full UK CPC
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Licence held for a minimum of 1 year

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to customers in the South Yorkshire area
• Offload pallets using tail lift and electric pump truck
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete paperwork per company guidelines

Job Description

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS WANTED – GOLDTHORPE, SOUTH YORKSHIRE

You will be working for a family operated, national and international transport company operating primarily in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries that distributes an extensive range of commodities including construction products, agricultural products, electrical goods and food and drink products as well as being a proud partner of TPN (The Pallet Network). You will be responsible for delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area and will be responsible for offloading pallets using a tail lift and electric pump truck. PM trunking work also available
.
All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary role with perm opportunitites also available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour on days and £19.00 pert hour on nights

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 0700 each day.
