Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for Bridgend with competitive hourly pay and regular shifts. You will transport mail between depots, follow planned routes with minimal loading, and select from morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV CE licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph, plus DBS/vetting clearance and address verification. On-site parking and canteen facilities are available at most depots.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points; pass DBS/vetting checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading/unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
