Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is hiring an HGV Class 1 Driver to transport mail between depots across the network. You will work a mix of morning, evening and weekend shifts, with planned routes and regular depots-based driving.

Requirements include a valid HGV CE licence, CPC, Tachograph card and at least 180 days in the last year of Class 1 driving, with minimal penalty points and DBS/vetting clearance. On-site parking and depot facilities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence held for 12+ months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
