Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver in Motherwell. You’ll drive depot-to-depot, follow planned routes, and choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts for steady, reliable work with a national employer.

You’ll need a CE licence with at least 12 months held, CPC and Digital Tachograph, up to 6 points, and DBS checks. The role offers hourly pay (£21.44–£24.57), weekly PAYE, holiday pay, pension and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for 12+ months.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 180 days Class 1 driving in last 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Driving licence showing your current address.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading/unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
