Job summary

Pertemps Bond is advertising an HGV Class 1 Driver role for Royal Mail. This temporary/ongoing position offers depot‑to‑depot driving, reliable shifts and pay up to £24.57 per hour with the security of a national employer.

You'll follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading, select from morning, evening and weekend shifts, and complete vehicle safety checks before each shift. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence for at least 12 months, CPC and Digital Tachograph card,

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last year.
• Max 6 penalty points.
• DBS and vetting checks clearance.
• Driving licence showing your current address.

Responsibilities

• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
