Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Bridgend seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for an ongoing temporary role. You will deliver mail between Royal Mail depots and work on a variety of shifts, with on-site parking and canteen facilities at most depots.

Expect to follow planned routes, perform pre-shift safety checks, and enjoy reliable weekly PAYE pay with holiday pay and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• DBS and vetting checks passable.
• Licence shows current address.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots

What You'll Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence (held for at least 12 months)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• No more than 6 penalty points
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks
• Driving licence showing your current address
