Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to operate across Edinburgh (EH28) and Glasgow (G32). The role includes airport runs, trunking, trailer swaps and local deliveries with shifts across days, backs and nights.

The position offers a varied workload, training, and long-term opportunities within an established transport operation. Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence, CPC, and have the ability to obtain airport clearance.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) licence held.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ability to obtain airport clearance.
• Basic Disclosure required.
• 5-year employment history check (any gaps 28 days+) with evidence.
• DBS completion for airport access.

Responsibilities

• Airport collections and deliveries.
• Double-manned trunking runs.
• Trailer swaps to East Midlands.
• Local collections and deliveries.
• Working from both EH28 and G32 depots.
• Rotating shift pattern including days, backs and nights.

Class 1 Driver - EH28 & G32 (Flexible Multi-Site Role)

Location:

Edinburgh (EH28) & Glasgow (G32)

Pay Rates:

• £17.89 per hour (Between 08:00 and 19:00)
• £20.54 per hour (Between 19:00 and 08:00)
• Minimum 40 hours guaranteed per week

We're looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work across both our Edinburgh and Glasgow operations. This is a varied role offering a mix of airport runs, trailer swaps, collections and deliveries, making it ideal for a flexible driver who enjoys different shift patterns and routes.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Airport collections and deliveries
• Double-manned trunking runs
• Trailer swaps to East Midlands
• Local collections and deliveries
• Working from both EH28 and G32 depots
• Rotating shift pattern including days, backs and nights
