Job summary

Culina Group in Worksop is seeking a delivery driver to perform safe, professional deliveries to customer premises and to carry out general haulage to regional distribution centres. Some night outs may be required, with shifts starting early in the morning.

You will report to the Transport team at shift start, complete paperwork and ensure PODs are returned. Adherence to health and safety rules and tachograph regulations is essential, with careful vehicle checks and temperature monitoring where

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip.
• Occasional Night out may be required
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate any delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure and report defects correctly.
• Taking responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintaining a high standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

Start Times: 5am – 6am

Available Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Friday Days

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Days: £15.16 per hour
• Overtime is 1.5x Hourly rate.
