Job summary

Orbital Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for day and night shifts across the UK. The role involves RDC deliveries (2-3 per day) of palletised freight, with PPT/LLOP training provided and mandatory daily vehicle checks.

Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, full UK driving licence, CPC, and digital tachograph, with 2+ years of Class 1 experience and clean licence (≤6 points). Flexible and team-oriented applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence and full UK driving licence are required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph are mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries by HGV Class 1 to RDC stores (2-3 per day).
• Handle palletised freight including chilled, frozen and ambient goods.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow scheduled routes.

• Follow delivery routes and time schedules as instructed.

Experience Needed/ About You:

• HGV Class 1 licence
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 experience
• Maximum 6 Penalty Points (no DD, DR, IN)
• Over 18 years of age for insurance purposes

Pay/ Salary:

• HGV Class 1 days £200 per day
• HGV Class 1 nights £210 per night
• All rates are Ltd/Umbrella only

Hours & Contract Type:

• Monday to Friday
• 3pm-6pm starts OR 10:30pm starts
