Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing client requirements in Telford. The role involves transporting goods safely to supermarkets, requiring strong communication skills and experience in vehicle inspections.

Ideal candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC qualification, and have no more than 6 points on their license. Immediate starts available with attractive pay rates between £18.08 and £23.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience for insurance.

Jobsworth Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for on-going client requirements based in Telford on a number of different full time rotas.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Days: 08:00 - 15:00

Shifts Available:

• 4-on / 4-off
• 5-on / 3-off

Pay Rate: £18.08 to £23.60 Per Hour - Weekly Paid

Contract: Ongoing

Requirement:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to supermarkets, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations - You will be driving box trailers, there is some use of an electric pump truck. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage paperwork and vehicle inspections are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a valid Class 1 license, CPC qualification, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
