Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for Port Sunlight to deliver ambient products. The role involves pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurate record-keeping, and strict adherence to safety and hours regulations. Various start times and fixed shifts (Sun-Thu or Wed-Sun) with on-site support.

Applicants must hold a HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tachograph cards, and have at least 6 months of Class 1 experience with no more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving experience required (min. 6 months).
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR convictions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and paperwork per policy and law.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.

Job description

Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client which deals with delivering ambient products.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Port Sunlight.

Rates including holiday pay £16.25 - £20.97 per hour.

Adhoc work available with various start times.

Fixed shifts are also available, working Sunday to Thursday and Wednesday to Sunday on AM or PM

Your Time at Work

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
