Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Teesport.

Earn £18.20 - £21.49 per hour with night ADHOC shifts, on-site car parking and required licences: HGV1/C+E, CPC & Tacho cards, plus minimum 6 months of HGV1 experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E licence with CPC and Tacho cards.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Excellent communication and ability to report defects clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain records of deliveries, logbooks and paperwork per policies and legal requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE in line with health and safety regulations.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Teesport.

£18.20 - £21.49 per hour - Consolidated pay rates

Night ADHOC drivers - shifts available from 19:00 onwards

Your Time at Work

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation.

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, CPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
