Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client delivering ambient products in Port Sunlight. Rates including holiday pay range from £16.25 to £20.97 per hour with adhoc and fixed shift options, including Sundays to Thursdays or Wednesdays to Sundays on AM or PM.

The role requires a valid HGV 1/C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph cards, and at least 6 months of experience, with a clean licence record (no DD/DR).

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1/C+E licence with CPC and tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no DD/DR convictions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.

Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client which deals with delivering ambient products.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Port Sunlight.

Rates including holiday pay £16.25 - £20.97 per hour.

Adhoc work available with various start times.

Fixed shifts are also available, working Sunday to Thursday and Wednesday to Sunday on AM or PM.

Your Time at Work

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
