Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV drivers to join our Logistics team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on trunking between company depots and distribution centres while maintaining safety, accurate records, and on-time deliveries.

You'll work in a well-established logistics environment with competitive pay, access to a modern fleet, PPE, uniform, pension enrolment, and holiday entitlement, supported by an experienced Transport Team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 (CE) HGV licence and have 12 months CE driving experience.
• Must hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points on driving licence.
• Able to work within Drivers’ Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and complete transport records.

Job description

We're seeking experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to join our Logistics team.

This is a trunking position involving scheduled movements between company depots and distribution centres. You will play an important part in keeping stock moving across our network, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

What Does the Role Involve?

The position centres on depot-to-depot trunking, supported by routine vehicle inspections, accurate completion of transport records, and adherence to all relevant transport legislation. You'll be expected to take pride in the condition of your vehicle, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to the smooth running of the transport function.

To be considered, you'll need to answer "Yes" to the following:

• Are you 23 years of age or older?
• Do you hold a valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence and have at least 12 months' CE driving experience?
• Do you hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card?
• Do you have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence?
• Are you confident working within Drivers' Hours Regulations and tachograph requirements?
• Do you take a responsible approach to safety, vehicle care, and legal compliance?
