Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Day drivers (C+E) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Truck to deliver industrial equipment efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving HGV Class 1 vehicles. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 curtain sided truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
• On average 2 deliveries and 2 collections to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop-off nationally.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including adherence to driving hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving license with a clean driving record and must have 2 years on license.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability
• No more than 6 points
• No DD, DR & IN10 Endorsements showing

Mon to Fri with various start times.

PAYE Pay rates

• £17ph Days basic - £25.50ph overtime after 8hrs - Holidays accrued
• £19.05ph Days basic -£28.57ph overtime after 8hrs - Holidays included
