Job summary

Westwood Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) for day and night shifts across designated routes in the UK. You will operate curtain sided trucks, conduct pre-trip checks and ensure safe, timely deliveries while adhering to hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team members.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently with good organisational skills.
• No more than 6 points on license.
• No DD, DR & IN10 endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 curtain sided truck in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Straight load trunk of general Haulage to various sites, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including driving hours regulations.
