Job summary

Culina Logistics is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Stafford team, supporting the Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes safe driving, excellent customer service, and dependable delivery standards within a supportive transport team.

We offer 5 on, 3 off shifts (Days or Nights) with flexible start times. Salary is £42,204.37 per year plus shift premiums, and a strong benefits package is available to

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence.
• Current DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Newly qualified drivers considered with right attitude and willingness to learn.
• No more than 6 points on licence, no DD or DR convictions.
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Role may occasionally require handballing but this is limited.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and update on delays or issues.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, health and safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects, take responsibility for unit and trailer (including temperature checks).
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service.
• Take advantage of night-out runs where available.

Job Description

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Stafford, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift patterns available

We are looking for drivers working a 5 on 3 off shift pattern either Days or Nights.

We offer flexibility in shift patterns with start times available, let us know what you’re looking for and our Transport team will be more than happy to discuss with you, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Pay rates

Salary- £42,204.37pa plus shift premiums depending on shift hours

What you’ll be doing:
