Job summary

Culina Logistics is seeking professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for our Market Drayton operation, supporting a chilled distribution network across the UK. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes safe driving, excellent customer service, and dependable delivery standards.

You will join a supportive transport team with 4 on 4 off patterns and flexible start times. Pay starts at £33,856.82 per year plus shift premiums, with opportunities for night-out runs where available.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence with DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DD/DR convictions.
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Role may occasionally require handballing; this is limited.
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and update delays or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs signed and returned to Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health and safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects; take responsibility for unit and trailer and temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service.
• Take advantage of night-out runs where available.

Job Description

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Market Drayton, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift patterns available

We are looking for drivers working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

We offer flexiblity in shift patterns with start times available across Mornings and afternoons, let us know what you’re looking for and our Transport team will be more than happy to discuss with you, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Pay rates

Salary- £33,856.82pa plus shift premiums depending on shift hours

What you’ll be doing:
