Job summary

Culina Logistics in Market Drayton is seeking professional HGV Class 1 drivers to support our chilled operation and deliver to key retail customers across the UK. This permanent full-time role offers stability with a 5 on 3 off shift pattern and flexible start times.

The package includes a salary of £42,205.36 per year plus shift premiums. You will carry out safe deliveries, complete nationwide palletised loads, and maintain high safety standards while reporting daily to the Transport team.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence.
• Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Newly qualified drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres
• Role may occasionally require handballing however this is limited
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
• Take advantage of night-out runs where available, if this is something you are interested in.

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Market Drayton, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift patterns available

We are looking for drivers working a 5 on 3 off shift pattern.

We offer flexibility in shift patterns with start times available across Mornings and afternoons, let us know what you’re looking for and our Transport team will be more than happy to discuss with you, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Pay rates

Salary- £42,205.36pa plus shift premiums depending on shift hours.
