Culina Logistics in Market Drayton is hiring professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent, full-time role delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

You’ll join a supportive transport team prioritising safe driving, reliable service, and high professional standards. Night-out runs may be available, with flexible start times across mornings and afternoons.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C+E licence and DCPC with Digital Tachograph cards.
• Experience with HGV Class 1 driving is preferred but not essential for newly qualified drivers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Report delays or issues to the Transport team at start of shift.
• Complete paperwork and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards and traffic rules.

Job Description

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Logistics team in Market Drayton, supporting our Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

We are looking for drivers working a 5 on 3 off shift pattern

We offer flexibility in shift patterns with start times available across Mornings and afternoons, let us know what you’re looking for and our Transport team will be more than happy to discuss with you, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preferences.

Pay rates

What you’ll be doing:

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK.
• Complete nationwide deliveries of palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres
• Role may occasionally require handballing however this is limited
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.
• Take advantage of night-out runs where available, if this is something you are interested in.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E Licence.
• Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Newly qualified drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions.
• Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
