Job summary

Multi Trades Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers for a permanent nationwide automotive logistics role across the UK. Start times are typically between 4:00am and 6:00am.

This full-time, permanent position offers a pay rate of £55,000-£65,000 per year, with in-house CPC training, PPE, pension, annual leave, meal allowance and achievable bonuses. You will operate 11+ vehicle car transporters and load, secure, and deliver nationwide to dealerships and auctions.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of car transporter driving experience.
• Full UK HGV Category C+E/Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six licence points.
• Comfortable with roaming, tramping and sleeping in the truck.
• Professional and confident with customers.
• High work ethic and team player.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers to begin permanent work for a well-established nationwide automotive logistics company throughout the UK.

About the role:

• Working Hours - Full-time, permanent roaming/tramping role, with typical start times between 4:00am and 6:00am


• Pay Rate - £55,000-£65,000 per year


• Operating large 11-plus vehicle car transporters


• Collecting and delivering vehicles nationwide


• Loading, checking, securing and unloading cars and vans


• Delivering to dealerships, auctions and other business locations


• Paid in-house Driver CPC training, free PPE and ongoing support

About You:
